The Bulldogs got 11 points and 13 rebounds from GLIAC Freshman of the Year Christina Branch, 11 points from sophomore guard Sarah DeShone and 10 from senior guard Kelsey DeNoyelles. That scoring balance and consistency have been a hallmark of this team's success all year. Those characteristics, and others, will be tested in a major way on Sunday against one of the nation's best teams.
Ferris' Saturday victory sets up a rematch between the Bulldogs and Ashland University for the championship. The Eagles, ranked fifth in the nation in Division II, will be a major challenge for the Bulldogs. Ashland is a team that is stacked and will test the Bulldogs - with the benefits of home-court advantage.
