Taking advantage of the incredible mid-March weather, Ferris State University was on the softball diamond as host to Aquinas College in a non-league doubleheader at the FSU Softball Field.

Ferris returned to Big Rapids and represented well on its home field under first-year head coach Dawn Thompson, who is being assisted by former Bulldog softball players Holly Bruntjens and Lynsay Weaver.
